Thanks for coming back to the show. I’m Dana Ward for ClevverTV and today we’re chatting about some of the Young Hollywood-ers walking the carpet for this year’s Video Music Awards. Of course, since this was for an MTV awards show, everyone took a bit more risk in overall fashion – but definitely not as extreme as Lady Gaga’s always adventurous and unique costumed style. Up first, Ashley Greene – who was representing for the Twilight crew – looked uber-fabulous in a black and white mini dress. The strapless black lace top with the more flowy short white chiffon-skirt was a cool combo, along with some super-high black patent pumps, a funky cuff bracelet and dark polish. Plus, this girl’s brighter than normal hair totally worked with her golden skin. Next up, Victoria Justice looked fashion-forward as well in her black tube mini dress. The fabric’s funky multi-colored animal print really made this MTV-appropriate, especially with those dark polished nails, cool layered bracelets and hoop earrings. The matching black pumps and clutch worked great and her middle-part half-pulled-back hair style kept the beauty-part of the equation fresh and fun. And Selena Gomez changed it up a bit, by opting for a long gown with a high, thigh slit versus the very standard MTV short, short and even more short dress look …

The first application is Jewels and it is a free Bejeweled clone from Android devices. The object of the game is to arrange the jewels in patters of 3 or more to earn points. There are three gaming styles that may be played. The second application is Raging Thunder II and it is a racing game that may either be played in multi-player or single player mode. The controls are customizable to use the touch screen or accelerometer. There are two version on the Android Market a lite version and the full version for $4.99, check to make sure your Android device is capable of running the lite version before purchasing the full version. The third application is Ringdroid, a free ringtone maker that allows you to select any portion of a song file to be saved as a ringtone. The fourth application is Shopper by Google. The free program is capable of searching for nearly any product by taking a picture of it, speaking, or typing your search. Compare local store’s prices or shop online. The fifth application is TuneIn, a free internet radio program that has hundreds of stations. Search for a particular song, genera, or select from the radio categories. Click the local button to be connected to radio stations in your area that stream over the internet.

Are you an “Angry Birds” or “Plants vs. Zombies” addict? So are most people, as it turns out. Apple’s 2010 Rewind, a list of top downloaded paid and free iPhone and iPad apps, ranks them among users’ favorites. Apple named “Hipstamatic” the top iPhone app of the year and “Plants vs. Zombies” iPhone game of the year. Hipstamatic adds different tones and shades to iPhone photos, giving them different feels, while Plants vs. Zombies is relatively self-explanatory. News organization app Flipboard was named the iPad app of the year, while the cosmic Osmos for iPad game was the favorite free iPad app. Angry Birds, Doodle Jump and Skee-Ball landed in the top three spots of top downloaded paid iPhone apps, which were mostly games or entertainment based. Also in the Top 10 were Bejeweled 2 + Blitz, Fruit Ninja, Cut the Rope, All-in-1 Gamebox, The Moron Test, Plants vs. Zombies and Pocket god. The top-grossing iPhone app, however, was MLB.com’s At Bat 2010, which costs $14.99 during baseball season.
